Happines on a scoop

Yum!

Sometimes, happiness can also be found on a scoop.What, on a scoop? Yes, you read it right. Happiness can be found on a scoop of an ice cream. How? when you're sad, won't you buy an ice cream to comfort you?Can you even imagine how the face of a child looks like seeing him or her with a Popsicle? Surely, he or she is smiling. Or if you still wont agree with me why not imagine fries dipped on chocolate sundae or snickers dipped on Haagen Dazs. Or simple your favorite flavor of ice cream added with tiny marshmallows, colorful sprinkles,chewy brownies , almonds, and topped with cherry? Oh, it would be heaven! Now, you agree with me that happiness is on a scoop or you'd prefer to be on cone? Whatever! :p

Wrong yet funny

 Roam around the city, find signs with a wrong grammar, and take a picture of it. That's how our project in Journalism works.It's hard since taking a picture of a sign with a wrong grammar is so embarrassing. I mean, what would people think of me and my group mates when they see us taking a picture of something they posted without knowing it's wrong? Are we that perfect in terms of grammar? Well, let's just say this excuse: we're just doing our project.! There was even a time when we asked permission  to take a picture of something they posted but they said no. They even said we just make our own! :)) I know this project will be hard but honestly, laughing at other people's mistake is sometimes fun. We do not only learn, we also enjoy.:D

whatta week!

Wow.I have not opened my blog for six days.Well now, I'm back. First I wasn't able to blog since last Saturday and Sunday we had this Journalism Workshop.It's a two day workshop wherein we were trained to write news,editorial, and feature articles as well as copyreading and editorial cartooning.It was truly tiring since the writeshop was from morning 'till afternoon and all we did was to listen,eat  and write.We were so crowded and it was so hot but,I'm happy that at least over all the schools who joined, and knowing the fact that we have exams at the same week, still we bagged third place.:D Second, as what I've mentioned we had our exams last Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday and studying Math and Social Studies makes me sick-well, I mean hypothetically. Phew! Oh yes. I was QUITE busy and tired. But now, I'm just happy that every thing's fine and done. Back to normal.=) Oh wait, not until they've given our exam scores.:( hahaha.We'll see...

Shoes bring people to good places...

Many say it's true.That shoes do bring us to good places. Let's say they don't carry us, they don't make us fly. But, without them do you think we can reach places where we wish to be? Can we even say some places we've been were memorable if we don't have shoes to bring us there? Obviously not. If we look at it literally, shoes are made to make us feel comfortable. But why don't we look in a deeper perspective that shoes keeps our life going. It keeps us on taking steps thus making paths, building roads ....living life to it's fullest.:]

Taize

haha.i'm planning not to include these pictures anymore'cause we really looked exhausted but never mind.:P
Tired.I've been awake for 12 hours (seriously) in the Taize prayer.This is a form of prayer done from 6 p.m. up to 6 a.m. with of course different activities. I was part of the Campus Ministry wherein I helped in doing different stuff like making name tags,standing most of the time holding the silence sign, even danced.hahaha.=) and many more. This Taize was started of course by a prayer followed by a getting to know each other game and the Vespers.After that, we took dinner which I was looking forward since the start.haha.We watched a short documentary about hunger in the Philippines and there was a talk. The students where then asked to go out with their groups for a short sharing wherein I was one of those who held one the signs of the different groups.I wasn't the only one sleepy but most where already tired as the night goes by.There was then another talk from a priest followed by confessions.We where then asked again to go out and again raise our cartolinas for the groups to know where they should go.I admit that was tiring but sure that was fine.haha.We then went inside wherein we are all so tired and that led to sleeping.zzzzz.(",(",) hahaha.Good that we have woke up before the mass could start or else we were seen with cartolinas in our face in the middle of the mass.waaat! XD. What made me awake was the brownout in the middle of singing Our Father wherein I was able to see the sun rise and realize that it was already morning and enter the fact in my mind that I was able to survive not sleeping the whole night not only with fun memories but lot`s of lessons in life to take home.;))

Ok. I don't have any idea what to say.I'll admit it. It's my first time in this thing and I don't have any idea what to do. Maybe I'll start by introducing myself.I'm Norlene and if you wonder how I look, well I'm tall.err...that wasn't a good start.haha.=).I'll make this clear that love to eat. I love those long strings well you call them pasta and don't forget pizza. I love cakes especially the chocolate ones. I love fries, chips, burger, popcorn, and donut. Fine. I'll stop talking of food. I'll just share what music I'm into. I like songs of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift. My favorite color is pink and violet.Too girly right? Well who cares? hahaha.I love Eclipse. You agree? This is acually the reason why I ike Dakota Fanning.I'm not a really a huge fan of Dakota but I like her flaming red eyes and dark eyeliner . BTW if you're curios why I named this blog Journalism, it's because this is actually our Journalism class' project.I've said a lot so I'll already end this. Hope you enjoyed, or did you? hahaha.XD
