My first rosary

Imagine, I was already able to make my own rosary for the very first time during our SME Club. And obviously I'm so proud that I even blogged this thing. Back to my experience, if at first most of us thought inserting those beads on a string would be very tiring, somehow it's true since some of the beads were quite small so it needs a patient person to do a rosary. At first, I wasn't able to understand how it should look like but as I continued adding beads it just came naturally!:D as what one of my club mates said. We even finished earlier than the rest of my club mates.

Cram!

October 4- deadline for the project in CAE. Today, September 30-I haven't started.
Cram! Oh no, I have only three days left to do my book report and next week's our exam! I know, we were given two months do our book report so I don't have the right to complain nor should I make any excuse. Pray, that I'm gonna finish my book report for two days to be able to study even just for one day.:(

AC got what?!

I know it's none of my business and I don't have the right to judge anyone and I respect that. But I also have the right to make my own opinion and everyone should respect that. I'm a bit curious about the AC got faces thing on Facebook. With the title itself, it's obviously about the most handsome and the prettiest people or to be specific, students. Maybe a lot was entertained seeing good looking people but the thing is, were these students aware that they will be part of this thing? :0

Finally did it!

Oh yes, finally I was able to do it. I was able to say Macbeth's soliloquy in front of my classmates and my teacher, of course not to mention be on a male costume.:) I was so nervous to go up stage, let's say a mini stage but as I said my first few lines I somehow felt confident. But as I said a few more lines up until the middle part, oh God, I forgot. I was staring blankly in front of my classmates and my teacher as i kept on thnking but thank God, I was able to remember and I'm satisfied with the grade I earned.=]

The Man Who Can't be Moved

I would be so proud to say this music video of my favorite song was made by me, but sad to say it's  made by me sister.:|
But thanks to her I've got something to blog about.:p

Movie Marathon?

For three long days, we did nothing in school since most of our teachers had a seminar so we're left to either watch a movie or do the certain activities they planned for us. September 22, we watched Odyssey for our Social Studies class and we watched G.I. Joe in the afternoon for our Science class. On the next day, September 23, I was so excited to watch Macbeth which I was kinda disappointed since it was quite boring. After that we watched Noli Me Tangere in preparation for our Play Festival. In the afternoon we watched a Broadway show by the students and staff of Assumption San Lorenzo which was kind of boring for me but let's just say they were so good in singing and acting.(two thumbs up! haha!) September 24 we watched My Sister’s Keeper which I was touched the most by its sad story. :|I’m happy that at least for three days I was able to have a “mini movie marathon” in the middle of a very stressing week:>

bla, bla,bla!

Is this a dagger which I see before me.....bla, bla, bla.:p Oh no,next week i'm gonna recite this thing. God, help me! Can you imagine that? I'm gonna recite a 32-lined soliloquy  knowing only a little of what I'm saying. No offense to those who love him but I mean, who would dare understand  a soliloquy of Macbeth? If memorizing a 14-lined sonnet made my head crack, what more in memorizing  a 32-lined one?  Not only that, we were also asked to act while saying the lines we've memorized and be on costume! No, i can't act. I can't even make my voice like a man. With all the things I've said, I don't mean our teacher is a terror making us do all these stuff. She's actually so nice and patient to us.:) If other batches before us was able to do this, I know we can and I know I can. Maybe in this challenge, it's not always how good your memory is. Maybe it's all about the guts you have and the risks you're willing to take.;)

100 years of Assumption

(Just wanna share this poem I made for our assignment in CAE since I've got nothing to do and nothing to blog about.:">)

It was on July 15, 1910
that Assumption-Iloilo opened
We can say it's history
So let's unravel it's hidden beauty

Faith, Love, Truth, Justice, and Peace
Are just a few of the values they teach
Character Formation, Social Responsibility, Academic Excellence,
the three pillars of Assumption education

MMA, MME, MTE
Love, Gratitude, and Simplicity
All hail to our beloved Assumption
All hail to our mother foundres St. Marie Eugenie

Now, we're celebrating 100 years of Assumption education
100 years of dedicated and loving service
100 years of transfroming the society centered on gospel values
100 years of transforming lives!

Happines on a scoop

Yum!
Sometimes, happiness can also be found on a scoop. What, on a scoop? Yes, you read it right. Happiness can be found on a scoop of an ice cream. How? when you're sad, won't you buy an ice cream to comfort you?Can you even imagine how the face of a child looks like seeing him or her with a Popsicle? Surely, he or she is smiling. Or if you still wont agree with me why not imagine fries dipped on chocolate sundae or snickers dipped on Haagen Dazs. Or simple your favorite flavor of ice cream added with tiny marshmallows, colorful sprinkles, chewy brownies , almonds, and topped with cherry? Oh, it would be heaven! Now, you agree with me that happiness is on a scoop or you'd prefer to be on cone? Whatever! :p

Wrong yet funny

Whut?!
Thanks to magkacollegenatayo.multiply.com
Roam around the city, find signs with a wrong grammar, and take a picture of it. That's how our project in Journalism works. It's hard since taking a picture of a sign with a wrong grammar is so embarrassing. I mean, what would people think of me and my group mates when they see us taking a picture of something they posted without knowing it's wrong? Are we that perfect in terms of grammar? Well, let's just say this excuse: we're just doing our project.! There was even a time when we asked permission  to take a picture of something they posted but they said no. They even said we just make our own! :)) I know this project will be hard but honestly, laughing at other people's mistake is sometimes fun. We do not only learn, we also enjoy.:D
